CC Continental Supermarket was founded in 1979, in Chapeltown, Leeds and for the past 40 years we have provided customers with foods from around the world. We specialist in Afro-Caribbean foods, South-Asian foods along with fresh halal meat & poultry and fresh fruit and vegetables.

We are looking for an experienced Shop Manager to take charge of our daily operations and ensure smooth, efficient management.
Shop Manager – 45 hours per week. Work Premises would be our office location.
Salary can be negotiated at the time of interview. (£33,000-£38,000 per annum)
TASKS
• Recruits and supervises staff, delegating responsibilities and evaluating performance.
• Collaborates with colleagues to inform customers about merchandise, special promotions, and other relevant details.
• Maintains adequate stock levels, ensuring efficient inventory management.
• Resolves customer complaints and inquiries related to sales and services in a timely manner.
• Manages financial records, oversees security measures, and ensures premises are secure.
• Approves payments for received supplies, while determining vending prices, discount strategies, and credit terms.
• Inspects merchandise quality and optimizes the use of advertising and display strategies effectively.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• The right candidate will need to be suitably qualified and have extensive experience within their role.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience would be desired.
