• Producing design calculations and technical drawings
• Leading and mentoring CAD technicians & junior designers
• Preparing project scopes, reports, and specifications
• Ensuring design changes and M&E design packages are fully implemented
• Supporting hydraulic and mechanical design across various projects
Skills and Experience for the Mechanical Design Engineer role:
10+ years of design experience in the water industry
Strong knowledge of hydraulic design, mechanical design, and control systems
Have a Degree or HND qualification in a relevant field
Proficient IT skills and familiarity with design software
Registered with a professional body and working towards chartership or desire to work towards
