JUSTH Ltd, a leading provider of health and social care services in the UK, is seeking Health Care Assistants and Senior Health Care Assistants to join our growing team. We provide high-quality supported living accommodation and domiciliary care services for adults 65+, young adults, and children with complex care needs.
Location: Various locations across the North West area of England
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Health Care Assistant – Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in their homes or supported living accommodation
- Assist with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Support clients with medication administration under supervision
- Engage clients in social activities to enhance their well-being
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health conditions
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care or support role for at least one year is desirable but not essential. (Preference for experience in mental health and complex care needs.)
- A caring, empathetic, and patient nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Right to work in the UK (though sponsorship is available, it is subject to home office approval ))
- A valid UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
Senior Health Care Assistant – Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support a team of healthcare assistants in delivering person-centred care
- Assist with care planning and ensure care plans are followed
- Administer medication and carry out clinical tasks as required (subject to training and competency assessment)
- Support the training and development of junior staff
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and families regarding client needs
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a health and social care role with particular preference for experience in mental health and complex care needs.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) is preferred
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Right to work in the UK (desirable, though sponsorship is available, it is subject to home office approval )
- A valid UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
