Summary
Post: Personal Assistant
Hours: 4 Hours per week
(flexibility required as hours will potentially increase over time)
Rate of Pay: £12 per hour Gross
Description:
A Personal assistant is required by the client, a 24-year-old man, to assist with their social support requirements to access the community and to support them on social outings. They are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, trustworthy who can support their social activities and be proactive in encouraging them to broaden their horizons and develop their independence. A driving licence and use of a vehicle would be welcomed but is not essential.
Tasks will include:
• Supporting social outings and leisure activities
• Supporting visiting cafes and restaurants
• Supporting use of public transport
• Supporting occasional overnight trips
• Supporting exercise and gym sessions
• Accessing activities in the community
• Assistance with cooking/meal preparation where required
• Any other duties commensurate with the role of a Personal Assistant
Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and be willing to share the details with the employer.
