Summary

Salary: £22,846.20 per annum (£11.72 per hour. Due for pay review end of March 2025)

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Support Worker with a UK valid driving licence who wants to help us make a difference to our service users’ lives. Our homes are busy and always filled with activities that enable our service users to live active and independent lives.

Working pattern will be 5/7 which will include weekends and bank holidays. You may be required to undertake sleep in duties, for which an additional allowance is paid. The ideal candidate will therefore need to be flexible, fun, supportive and confident driving our residents to and from appointments/ activities.

Responsibilities

​As part of your role, you will:

You will undertake a wide range of key tasks which will include assisting residents with personal care, cooking and light domestic duties around the Home
Drive/ accompany residents to appointments and fun outings
May be required to undertake sleep-in duties, for which an additional allowance is paid.
Essential Criteria

* You will be a confident driver with a clean driving licence
* You will need great written and verbal communication skills
* You will be willing to be flexible and attend our excellent training and development programme
* NVQ Level 2 / Diploma in Health & Social Care - anyone who does not have NVQ * Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care must be prepared to do the Care Certificate within their induction period.
* Experience of learning disability support/care work.
* Have Right to Work in UK fulltime
