Description
We are seeking an experienced Principal Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As the Principal Accountant, you will lead the accounting team, ensure the integrity of financial statements, and facilitate the preparation of reports that meet both internal and external standards. Responsibilities
Lead the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Develop and oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare budgets and forecasts based on financial data analysis.
Review and enhance internal controls to minimize risks and improve financial integrity.
Coordinate and facilitate the external audit processes and liaise with auditors as needed.
Monitor financial performance and report on variances to guide strategic decision-making.
Provide training and mentorship to junior accountants to foster their professional growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards and practices.
Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills.
Solid understanding of tax laws, compliance, and audit procedures.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
Hours Per Week: 30.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 15:00
