Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the hostel, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
  • Manage resident check-ins and check-outs, maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Organise and facilitate community events and activities to foster a sense of belonging.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hostel policies.
  • Act as the first point of contact for residents, responding to queries and providing assistance as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of common areas and facilities.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall resident experience.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role or within a customer service environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy setting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to hostel management.
  • First Aid certification is desirable.
  • A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive community atmosphere.
