Key Responsibilities:
Kebab Preparation:
Prepare and cook a variety of kebabs, including different meat types (e.g., lamb, chicken, beef) and vegetables.
Marinating, skewering, and grilling techniques.
Ensure kebabs are cooked to perfection and served promptly.
Food Quality and Safety:
Maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Comply with all relevant food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
Kitchen Operations:
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately.
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Teamwork and Communication:
Work effectively with other kitchen staff and waitstaff.
Communicate clearly and efficiently to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Potentially assist with training new kitchen staff.
Menu Development (Potentially):
Contribute to menu development and the creation of new kebab variations.
Collaborate with restaurant management to design new menu items and specials.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in kebab preparation and cooking techniques.
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately.
