We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated Nursing Associate to join our friendly, supportive and exciting family team on Ward T5/T6 Surgical Triage Unit, based at The Royal Oldham Hospital which is part of the Northern Care Alliance.
We are looking for nursing staff with a particular interest in managing acute surgical patients in a welcoming and friendly working environment. nursing to support our newly developing service at TROH. The Surgical Triage Unit accepts acute referrals from specialities such as general surgery, vascular, urology and orthopaedic.
Working on STU will give you experience to both inpatient ward working, the outpatient hot clinic and also our 24/7 assessment unit which is situated on the ward.
T5/6 is a 35 bedded surgical ward which is attached to our Surgical Triage unit, taking referrals from all acute services.
Whilst working for us, you will work both ward based and in the surgical triage unit. We are looking for a highly skilled individual who is able to care for both complex and acute surgical patients.
