We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join our Schools and Communities team to provide support for hands on, curriculum-linked workshops in our labs. The role involves working within a fast-paced, busy environment with hundreds of school students visiting every week to engage in science based learning.

Your duties will be to support the labs and prep room in Lifelab, ensuring smooth day to day running and provide a well maintained, clean, safe and visitor-focused experience for visiting schools and community groups. You will update and contribute to all materials and equipment, maintaining stocks and order as needed, and ensure appropriate disposal of wastes and any hazardous material.

The successful candidate will be confident, approachable and reliable with excellent organisational skills, a science background and be experienced in setting up and supporting the delivery of practical activities and experiments in a lab or school environment. Knowledge of a range of laboratory techniques and experience across STEM disciplines is desirable.
