You will be working closely with business engagement teams to cultivate and maintain relationships with industry partners to secure scholarship opportunities. Internally, you will be expected to promote these opportunities to students internally and oversee the scholarship application and selection process. The goal is to ensure that deserving students have access to financial scholarship support and that the scholarship programme aligns with institutional goals, enhancing student employability and positive progression.

Additionally, the role involves collaborating with directorate staff to support the college's participation in a wide range of skills development and competition-based initiatives for young people, both in the UK and internationally.

Oversee the administration of the directorate's scholarship programme, ensuring it aligns with institutional goals and student needs.
Promote scholarship opportunities to current and prospective students.
Coordinate the scholarship application and selection process, including reviewing applications, organising selection committees, and communicating decisions.
Maintain positive relationships with sponsors to help secure future scholarship opportunities.
Monitor and report on the impact of scholarships on student success and program outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies related to scholarships.

What We’re Looking For:

We seek candidates who:

Are educated to Level 3 or above, ideally in an engineering or related technical discipline.
Hold grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
Have a commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
Have a personal commitment to continuous professional development.
Have relevant work-based experience, ideally in an industrial engineering environment – design, project management, manufacturing or production-based role.
Have proven experience in employer engagement, partnership development, or a related role within education.

What’s in it for you?

The college offers an excellent benefits package which includes:

Generous Annual Leave (30-45 days per annum (pro rata), depending on role)
Opportunity to purchase additional annual leave
