Embalmer / Mortuary Manager
Location: Stourbridge
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (Flexible for experienced candidates)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (No on-call)
A well-established funeral service is looking for an Embalmer / Mortuary Manager to join their team. With their current embalmer retiring in summer, they are seeking a dedicated individual to take on this important role.

Key Responsibilities:
Embalming (training available for the right candidate)
Preparing, dressing, and placing the deceased in coffins
Organising viewings across multiple branches
Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of mortuary facilities
Assisting with other funeral-related duties as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Fully trained Embalmer preferred, but training available for those with relevant funeral home experience
The successful candidate must have experience working in a funeral home
Attention to detail and high standards of care
Ability to work independently while being part of a team
Organisational skills and respect for the nature of the role
