Community Quality Care Services Ltd have an excellent opportunity for Home Care Assistants to join our fabulous home care team here in Blackburn, on a permanent full time or part time basis.

Being a Care Assistant requires adaptability, a kind-hearted nature and the ability to put others first.

Your role and responsibilities may include:

Providing companionship
Support with personal care such as getting up and going to bed, showering, bathing, toileting, grooming and oral care
Helping with mobility around the home
Overseeing medication and providing medication support
Providing emotional support to clients and families
Helping around the house with cleaning, cooking, laundry and tidying
Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
Transport clients to appointments and community activities
Providing support with clinical care

Requirements of a Carer:

Must hold a full and valid UK or EU driving licence and have access to own vehicle (preferred).

Have a genuine passion to want to help others.
Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude.

To be able to communicate effectively and professionally.

Flexible working hours - Days, Evenings and Weekends

Experience:

Care: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification: Care certificates preferred but training can be provided.

Blackburn with Darwen and surrounding areas
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary.

Pay: £12.00-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
