Crynodeb
Within South Staffordshire there are three main providers of childrens health services: Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust, University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust, and Queens Hospital Burton Foundation Trust. These are in addition to other neighbouring Acute Trusts which also serve the Staffordshire population. South Staffordshire has a population of over 604,000 of which 150,000 are children aged 0 to 18 years old. The Consultant works as part of the Community Paediatric Team in the locality of Lichfield, providing a community-based service to the local population. The Consultant should play a significant role in the development of the service by liaising with general practitioners, social services and other key partner organisations.
