Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Lead Practitioner

Location: Remote with Travel (A valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle, as the role requires travel between locations).

Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding Positive Behaviour Support and driving meaningful change in people’s lives? United Response is seeking an experienced and inspiring PBS Lead Practitioner to lead our organisations PBS strategy, PBS practitioners, enhance practice standards, and champion restraint reduction across our organisation.

Key Purpose of the Role:

To lead the strategic and operational implementation of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) across United Response, driving forward best practices in PBS, restraint reduction, and staff development. The PBS Lead Practitioner will ensure high-quality training, clinical supervision, and evidence-based approaches are embedded throughout the organisation. This role also champions the minimisation of restrictive practices and ensures compliance with the Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) training standards.

Essential Criteria

To thrive in this role, you must have:

  • A valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle, as the role requires travel between locations.
  • Relevant qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Positive Behaviour Support, Psychology or related field (e.g., MSc/Postgraduate Diploma).
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent).

Desirable

  • Senior Trainer certification aligned with RRN standards.
  • Registration with UK-SBA or Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Formal training in assessment and observation techniques.
