This post is full time (35 hours per week) and open ended.

The post holder will join the School of Infection and Immunity and will provide senior operational support to laboratory users, including Principal Investigators, Researchers and Students. The post holder will be responsible for daily operational aspects of CL3 facilities in Sir Graeme Davies Building (SGDB), liaising with CL3 facility users and building managers and technicians to ensure daily operations are organised in an efficient and effective manner.

Operating within strict regulations, the post holder will provide specialist and bio-safety expertise in the management of the facility maintenance and will deliver training requirements for users of the CL3 facilities. The post holder will support the regulatory and operational responsibilities required at CL3, contribute to health and safety working groups and will work with the Building and Technical Managers to support the overall health and safety within the Sir Graeme Davies Building (SGDB).

Please note, in line with the CL3 Code of Practice, this role requires candidates to declare non-immunocompromised status. If candidates are unable to confirm this status, then a personal risk assessment will be undertaken before a formal employment contract is issued.
