We have an exciting position as Senior BPX Finance expert to join out Head Office team in Colwick, Nottingham.

The Senior BPX works with HD Group business owners and project team members to define, evaluate and implement approved solutions for change in accordance with planned priorities.

The role is to build a partnership with local, European and Global IT teams and business areas, to be SAP specialist and IT representative in helping shape the improvements defined within the HD Strategic Programme.

Business Analysis – work with business managers to define requirements and translate these into business process documentation, technical specifications and other project documentation where required. Typically, this will require drawing on a wider set of experience and SAP system knowledge to highlight and consider the potential impacts in other areas
Coordinating and delivering projects – including planning and scoping the work required, the resources required and managing the delivery. Will involve cross functional, and cross technology teams as well as 3rd parties
Process and SAP improvements - identify opportunities for improvements and handle business requests and identify potential solutions and / or training needs to resolve. Help in definition of associated business benefits
Process and SAP support - investigate and triage problems and support issues and identify potential solutions and / or training needs to resolve, calling on other teams where required. Manage associated help desk tickets and manage to resolution
Coaching - mentor and assist with the development of any less experienced members of the team
Collaboration - demonstrate a strong sense of collaboration with internal teams, other colleagues within the HD Group and business owners
As this role supports project implementations across the UK and EMEA, having the flexibility to occasionally travel to sites both within the UK and Europe is required


You’ll need to have demonstrable experience of working on SAP project lifecycles, ideally within a similar industry and have the following qualifications and skills:


SAP: ECC – Modules specific to business area, MM, PP, LE, FI/CO, SD, CRM, WM, QM
Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, IDocs, EDI, ALE is desirable
Experience of working as an SAP FICO lead on project implementation


Here’s the experience and skills we are looking for:


At least 8 years’ experience in a similar role with demonstratable experience of working on SAP project lifecycles
Experience of co-ordinating or leading business process improvements
Educated to NVQ Level 3 Business Improvement Techniques: or Equivalent combination of education, professional accreditation and experience
Good knowledge of Business Analysis Techniques which help in modelling and understanding a business and its operation
Knowledge and experience (preferred) of Information Modelling Tools (manual or automated), which can be used to document an understanding of the structure, relationships and use of information within an organisation
