ichiban UK is a privately owned sushi manufacturer producing own label and branded sushi for the UK market.
We are looking for Skilled Production Operatives at our site in Earl Stonham, near Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich.
The shift is a 4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off pattern from 06:00-18:00.
Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Week 2: Thursday, Friday and Saturday
These roles also attract premium payments for weekend working and are guaranteed hours contracts.

The roles purpose is to be involved in all aspects of preparation, manufacture, assembly and packing of chilled food products to company and customer specifications, standards and procedures.
Role Accountabilities:
- To handle food products carefully and to apply good manufacturing practice (GMP)
- To maintain high personal hygiene standards and observe all company hygiene and housekeeping rules.
-To understand and ensure compliance of the required customer product specification.
-To work in a safe manner, without risk to self or others. Observing all health and safety laws, rules, procedures and COSHH regulations.
- Maximise yield and minimise waste without detriment to quality or safety.
- Complete all appropriate paperwork accurately and on time.
- To work as part of a team, co-operating and communicating with all other departments as appropriate to ensure the efficient running of the operation.
We offer great prospects if you wish to develop your career in the food industry. Full training will be given so although previous experience in food manufacturing would be nice, it's not vital.
