Role Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Manager at Hotel Name, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel by managing and maintaining its physical assets and infrastructure. Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and managing the hotel's maintenance team, developing them, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Planning and executing maintenance and repair activities for the hotel's facilities, including rooms, common areas, and mechanical systems.
- Managing and ensuring the proper functioning of essential systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems.
- Scheduling and supervising preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and operational disruptions.
- Collaborating with other departments to address maintenance-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Managing maintenance budgets and expenses while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Evaluating and recommending improvements to enhance the hotel's physical assets.
- Handling maintenance
- Previous experience in maintenance management within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong technical and mechanical knowledge, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively.
- Proficiency in IT applications for maintenance management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
