Our small but growing Health and Safety team is looking for a dedicated assistant/administrator to support a wide range of essential functions. In this role, you will:
• Coordinate our health surveillance programme: Play a key role in ensuring our staff’s health and safety risks are managed through regular monitoring and assessments.
• Prepare documentation: Assist in creating important documents for the Health and Safety Committee, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of safety compliance.
• Produce insightful reports: Compile and analyse data to help us understand and improve our health and safety practices, using new software to input and digitalise all health and safety information.
• Maintain comprehensive records: Keep our health and safety records filed and organised and up to date, supporting the smooth operation of our team.
You don’t need previous experience in Health and Safety to thrive in this role. What’s essential is your:
• Excellent administrative and IT skills: Your ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Outstanding organisational skills: Your talents excel at organisation and task management, including diary management for health and safety advisors.
• Proactive attitude: Your willingness to use your initiative and tackle challenges head-on.
All candidates must be qualified or experienced to SCQF Level 6 in a relevant subject.
