In this pivotal role, you'll create, develop, and execute communication plans that resonate with both internal and external stakeholders, aligning with our Marketing and Communication strategy. Your focus will be on increasing recruitment, supporting student and colleague engagement, and promoting the latest developments at Yeovil College. Working closely with internal teams, you'll enhance communication channels and champion successes in teaching, learning, and quality. You’ll also lead student and colleague events, collaborate with the Student Union, and highlight the achievements of our community. Externally, you'll drive communication strategies across digital and traditional channels, ensuring all applicants feel valued and supported. You'll work to strengthen Yeovil College’s presence in the community and among key partners, while developing targeted marketing collateral and strategies to engage new and existing audiences. You’ll also support marketing events, maintain compliance with sector regulations, and help develop impactful campaigns to position Yeovil College as an establishment of choice, leading the way in innovation and excellence.
What we're looking for: • Proven marketing and communications experience in a fast-paced, customer focused role. • Level 3 qualification in English and Maths, or equivalent • Strong interpersonal skills, always presenting a professional image. • An excellent team player with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Excellent attention to detail with a creative flair. • Adaptable, self-motivated, and innovative with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
