Summary

An opportunity has arisen to be part of the successful, award winning Hull City Council Public Safety Control Room. As a Supervisor your key responsibilities will be:

Supervise and support a team of CCTV Operators to ensure effective monitoring and incident response.
Manage alarm and keyholding monitoring and response.
Provide the initial point of contact for incident management.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and the Surveillance Camera Code of Practice.
Oversee the daily operations of the control room, ensuring all systems function correctly.
Liaise with emergency services, council departments, and external agencies as required.
Review and manage incident reports, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure a high standard of customer service and professionalism within the control room.

We are looking for;
Experience in a CCTV control room, setting, leadership qualities, a valid SIA (CCTV) Licence (or willingness to obtain one), strong communication and decision-making skills, a good understanding of data protection laws and surveillance guidelines, the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle incidents professionally.
