What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a visionary leader with a strong, child-centred approach, resilience, and the ability to drive the next exciting phase of our academy’s journey. We welcome applications from leaders across mainstream, special, or alternative provision settings, at both primary and secondary levels, who bring expertise in special educational needs.
The successful person will have:
§ Highly effective leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams;
§ Experience of effectively leading and managing change and the ability to think strategically;
§ A strong commitment to collaboration and partnership working;
§ A deep understanding of how children and young people with additional needs learn and make good progress;
§ High expectations, ambition, and determination to ensure every student reaches their full potential;
§ A strong commitment to working positively and pro-actively with parents, carers and a wide range of professionals and services; and
§ Excellent management and organisational skills.
