Waverley Hall day service is situated on Waverley Road just outside of Huddersfield Town Centre. Up to 40 people a day attend and enjoy activities in the local Huddersfield community, surrounding areas and in the day centre. Our aim is to provide people we support in a person-centred way to achieve their goals and ambitions and support them to have their best day possible. The service is open from 9.00am to 4.00pm for members.
The successful candidate's rota will be between the hours of 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday and will be clarified at interview.
Mencap in Kirklees day services have 9-seater people carriers to support our members with travelling around the community to enjoy different activities.
Being a driver is essential with a full UK driving licence and with at least 2 years’ experience as a driver (to meet our insurance requirements)
Due to the nature of the role, we will pay for you to complete an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, prior to starting with us.
