Crynodeb
You will work under the supervision from a registered nurse or other registered professional to provide high quality care and treatment. You will participate in the assessment, planning and providing of clinical interventions relevant to the patient group. Assist with the processing of new referrals to the service. Perform ECGs, forwarding results to the team doctors for review. Facilitate physical health clinics, monitoring weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, venepuncture, and physical symptoms related to eating disorders. Supporting key work and attending MDT meetings. Be accountable for own actions or omissions ensuring mindfulness of the NMC Code of Conduct for Nurses, Midwives and Nursing Associates. Demonstrate good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act. Demonstrate skills to maintain professional standards of record keeping. Share ideas with colleagues to improve care and suggest areas for innovation. Participate in audit activities being undertaken in area of practice or across the service. Providing skilled, evidence-based care which adheres to agreed policies and procedures. Report back and share information with the registered nurses on the condition, behaviour, activity, and responses of patients. Recognise deterioration in patients and escalate concerns appropriately. Act as patient advocates in the multi-disciplinary team. Referring to other teams or services as appropriate.Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification for further details.
