Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Band 6 - 37.5 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced and self - motivated HCPC registered physiotherapist to work as part of our Physiotherapy service.

The successful candidate will have well-established knowledge, experience and clinical skills working with a range of patients. Experience of working in the field of pelvic health is essential.

We require a physiotherapist who has excellent communication and assessment skills as well as a strong base of clinical skills. Good organisational time management skills are critical to this role and candidates will require the ability to work autonomously as well as with other health care professionals.

You would be a part of a rewarding and developing service, committed to providing evidence based intervention that supports patient journeys.

Utilising your knowledge and skills, you will work closely with the service users, their family/carers and other professionals

The post holder will provide skilled physiotherapy assessments, treatment and advice to adult patients
requiring support with pelvic health concerns including pelvic girdle pain, ante and post-natal care,
management of pelvic organ prolapse, along with bladder and bowel dysfunction in men and women.
They will undertake a leading role in the assessment, diagnosis and formulation of physiotherapy
treatment plans as well as advising and treating patients, carers, families and staff of other disciplines
to ensure physiotherapy treatment plans may be delivered. The post holder will also provide leadership
within the inter-disciplinary team, providing specialist advice to other therapists, nurses, students and
other health professionals.
