As Digital Content Manager you will be responsible for planning, managing and developing the digital content and channels needed to publish, amplify and communicate the work of Defence Futures and the Joint Doctrine Team. You will also ensure we adopt new digital tools and are forward thinking in our approach to digital content and communications.
Responsibilities
Websites. Manage our web platforms in accordance with extant policy and with the end user in mind. Review and approve all web content and ensure the online publishing process is as efficient as possible.
Social media and communications. Prepare and maintain a forecast of activity for communications content. Ensure our content is suitable and consistent in terms of corporate messaging. Work with project leads and support them producing content that will achieve the required impact with their target audiences.
Digital content. Manage and produce the digital content required to support and amplify the outputs and work of the organisation and individual teams. This will include news articles, visual and video content. Work with project leads to ensure the content is fit for purpose across the intended digital channels and for the target audiences.
Stakeholder relationships and best practice. Build and maintain positive relationships within the communications community across Defence, sharing best practice and exploiting collaboration opportunities that can improve the reputation and reach of our organisation.
