Job Purpose:I am a highly intelligent 30-year old with high functioning autism, ME/CFS and complex regional pain syndrome in my right hand. I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me with meal preparation, bathing, trips out (must have own car with business insurance), administrative tasks including emails and web browsing and attending medical appointments.I love radio presenting, writing comedy and take an interest in politics. I can suffer with low mood, social anxiety and the effects of past trauma. My ME affects my mobility badly so I use a powered wheelchair outside the home and a walking frame indoors.Location: Sporle, PE32

Person specificationEssential:Full UK driving license, own car with the appropriate business insurance.Flexible.Caring and empathetic.Desirable:Experience supporting someone with autism, ME and CFS.Summary terms and conditions:· The rate of pay for this position is £12.50 per hour.· Hours and times of work: Flexible, up to 13 hours per week to cover weekdays and weekends as needed, to be discussed during the interview. Exact times and days advised in advance.· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.· This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, COSHH, and Personal Care. Post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
