Job description: Listed below are details of the purpose and general tasks of the job to provide some insight of what is involved. It is advisable to refer to this when submitting your application for the post.Job Purpose: I am seeking a friendly Personal Assistant to provide support for me mainly with domestic tasks, meal preparation and parenting my three young children. I have mobility and mental health issues; therefore I am seeking someone who will be sympathetic as well as practical and family orientated.Location: Great Yarmouth, NR30DetailsYou will help me prepare nutritious meals for myself and my children. You will support me to play with my children and to provide them with learning opportunities through activities like crafts, messy play and games. You will support me to meet the personal care needs of the children. I require assistance with domestic tasks including laundry, hoovering and tidying. I would like support to take the children to nursery or out into the community.Person specificationEssential

Summary terms and conditions
  • The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour.
  • Hours and times of work: 15 hours per week Tuesday-Friday (days and times to be discussed at interview).
  • The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
  • Access to free Care Skills training for employer workers.
  • If this job requires; Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required undertake annual training.
  • You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
The post is subject to the following:
  • A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
  • Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
