Title: HGV Driver / HGV Driver The Best Connection is an Employment Business recruiting on behalf of our client.
We have an opportunity to recruit a HGV Class 1 Driver to operate from our client's yard near Goole. This position is ad-hoc in nature but will likely lead to ongoing work as the work increases. Immediate starts available.
Our client carries out general haulage work on curtain sider trailers.
Start times circa 06:00 and while it is day work, there may be the requirement to night out, depending on the nature of the work.
GUARANTEED MINIMUM 8 HOURS PER DAY (flat rate) NIGHT OUT ALLOWANCE - £25 PER NIGHT. REQUIREMENT : CE ENTITLEMENT ON UK LICENCE WITH VALID CPC & DIGI CARD. NO MORE THAN 9 POINTS FOR MINOR INFRINGEMENTS NO DD/DR/CD OR TT99 ENDORSEMENTS PLEASE AT LEAST 3-6 MONTHS OF CE DRIVING EXPERIENCE IN THE UK GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS GOOD GEOGRAPHICAL KNOWLEDGE OF UK ROADS. Successful online registration with our agency is required prior to starting work
