Resources Project Officer
Full-time (37 Hours) – 6 months temporary post
Grade B2, salary £30,559 to £32,654 per annum pro rata

North Kesteven District Council is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Resources team; This post puts you at the heart of governance and assurance project work for contract management and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to benefit from a career in Local Government compliance and finance and work within a modern and progressive local authority.

Job Requirements:
• 4 GCSEs including Mathematics and English (minimum Grade 4/C or equivalent)
• Strong IT skills and confident using standard Microsoft Office software packages
• Skill and aptitude for Problem Solving and project working
• Previous experience of working within in a similar environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
• The ability to manage and organise projects and work to strict timescales.
• The ability to be adaptable to a variety of tasks.
• The ability to analyse and report on complex financial information.
• Be responsible for the management of critical data to ensure legal compliance.

You will be required to apply a high level of attention to detail when carrying out this role to support the delivery of legal compliance across a multitude of areas including finance, health and safety, contract management and show an appreciation of the contribution local government can make to the welfare of the people living, working, and visiting the district.
