Crynodeb
We are a Business Centre based in Rugeley, Staffordshire and we are looking for a maintenance operative/handyman/gardener to join our team on a part time temporary basis.
Applicants will need to have previous maintenance experience, excellent DIY skills and a high standard of decorating experience.
Applicants must also hold a Full UK Driving License as they will be required to travel locally to our other sites and various residential properties; the successful candidate will have access to a company van.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
•General caretaker duties, maintenance, repairs, plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating and general ground works
•Carry out general repairs and maintenance on commercial and residential properties including office premises and residential dwellings.
•Repairs and maintenance tasks will vary from bulb changes, repairing broken fittings to basic building and maintenance work.
•General gardening at allocated sites; which will involve routine grounds maintenance such as mowing, strimming, pruning, hedge cutting, weeding etc. (mainly during summer months).
•Painting and decorating and basic plumbing duties.
Job Criteria:
•Proven general building repair and maintenance
•Experience and skills in carpentry (e.g. replacing door locks; repairing fence panels)
•General plumbing (e.g. fixing leaking taps)
•General electrical (e.g. replacing light switches)
•General gardening skills
•Painting and decorating
•Proactive in carrying out maintenance
•Essential to have excellent client facing skills
•Must hold a full, clean UK drivers License and be willing to travel locally.
