Summary
To support the Deputy Business and Finance Manager in providing a comprehensive, customer focused, financial management service to a strategic clinical Division within the Trust.
By ensuring relevant and timely financial data and resource management is provided to team managers for the purpose of budgetary control.
To also assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and budget reports for their areas, and ensuring that robust financial management is maintained in the Trust. Being the first point of contact for Budget Holders – setting up regular meetings with them to resolve queries and issues and feed information into forecasting.
• To support the Deputy Finance and Business Manager in the annual budget setting process
• To support the Deputy Finance and Business Manager in the monthly Budget Monitoring, forecasting and Control processes.
• To support the Finance and Business Manager and Deputy in providing a business support service to the Division
• To support the development of junior staff
• To be an active member of the Finance Team contributing to its development.
