What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an ambitious and creative teacher to join our school's committed teaching team starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will enjoy working with children and feel motivated to aim high for every pupil, providing a caring and supportive learning environment. Teachers at Greystones are excellent team-players and work together to provide the best school experience for every child.
We need a teacher who:
• has a strong knowledge of primary teaching and learning in Key Stage 2
• can demonstrate high quality, creative teaching and learning
• is highly motivated and will contribute to the continual improvement of the school
• is able to support the positive ethos and values of the school
• will be able to ensure excellent progress and promote the success of every child in the class

Greystones Primary School is a local authority maintained school at the moment. We are currently in the process of academisation, with an order for joining Peak Edge Academy Trust in the near future. This role will continue on a permanent basis and will be subject to TUPE arrangements on converting.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. All shortlisted candidates should disclose any cautions or convictions prior to interview. The amendments to the ROA Exceptions Order 1975 (2013 & 2020) provide that certain convictions and cautions are 'protected' and therefore not subject to disclosure to employers.
