Hays are recruiting for a dynamic SME business who are looking for a skilled and dedicated Temporary Accountant to join their team. This role offers the flexibility of full or part-time hours, making it ideal for individuals seeking a balanced work-life schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
- Invoicing: Generate and manage invoices, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Management Accounts Preparation: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, providing valuable insights to support business decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably within an SME environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
