Providing clinical input into the development of algorithms to pull out social and occupational data No coding knowledge needed you will be working alongside technical experts. The post-holder would need to be very familiar with social and occupational factors that underlie recovery such as functional skills, employment, housing and finances, social networks etc. The post-holder would be working alongside technical experts to identify data that relates to social factors underlying mental illness, ongoing social or occupational needs anddata that indicates that a social or occupational intervention has been delivered. Your clinical input will be vital in the design of the algorithms, validation of the algorithm output and evaluation of how well the algorithms are working. Consulting clinical colleagues where appropriate to get a multidisciplinary view of the data. Promoting the use of data to identify and address social and occupational needs Working with frontline clinicians and clinical leaders to address challenges using these data. To this end we would be looking for someone with Knowledge a deep knowledge and understanding of where and how social factors are captured in our health records, what factors are important to address and what interventions we can offer to help with recovery.
