Are you an experienced and dynamic nursing leader with a passion for delivering exceptional sexual health services? We are seeking aLead Nurse within Sexual Healthto drive clinical excellence, lead multidisciplinary teams, provide expert guidance on GUM and contraception.

You will provide effective leadership and management to develop nursing at a strategic and operational level, working closely with Consultants and the Service Manager within the service.

Lead the way in shaping the future of the Sexual Health Service as it adapts to meet the needs of commissioners and the local community, ensuring the effective use of technology and continuously advancing nursing practice to enhance service delivery.

You must be an experienced nurse with a strong background in sexual health and leadership. Essential qualifications includeSTIF Intermediate or equivalent, a recognised qualification in Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH), and LoC IUT/ Certificate in Sub-Dermal Implants.
• As Lead Nurse, you will providestrong clinical leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-qualitynursing care, training, and educationwithin the Sexual Health Service. You will lead theNursing and Health Advising teams, offeringclinical supervision and managerial oversightto support excellence in patient care.

Your role will involve:
• Clinical Leadership:Shaping clinical protocols, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring best practices inGUM and Contraception.
• Training & Education:Delivering high-quality education, supporting staff development, and maintaining a strong professional presence.
• Collaboration & Partnerships:Strengthening relationships withprimary care, local agencies, social services, and key stakeholders, sharing specialist knowledge to supportsexual health strategies and public health initiatives.
• Service Development:Driving innovation, integrating technology, and evolving nursing practice to meetcommissioning and community needs.

The “must haves” for this role:

1. NMC registered in adult field.
2. STIF Intermediate or equivalent
3. Recognised Qualification in Reproductive Healthcare or DFSRH.
4. LoC IUT/Certificate in sub-dermal implants
