We are seeking a Commissioning Technician to join our dynamic Facilities Management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in the commissioning, testing, and handover of mechanical and electrical (M&E) building services systems within commercial and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform commissioning, testing, and validation of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BMS controls.
- Conduct functional performance testing, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues.
- Work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth system integration.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and commissioning plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices.
- Produce detailed commissioning reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support ongoing system optimization and provide technical guidance to maintenance teams.
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Technician within Facilities Management, M&E, or building services.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems commissioning.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (e.g., CIBSE, BSRIA, SFG20).
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
