We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Driver with Warehouse and Retail Sales Advisor duties to join the Brewers Group (at our newly acquired ‘PaintWell’ store) in Bromborough. Providing exceptional service to our customers, you will play a vital part in helping us serve customers and keeping the branch and its delivery service running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.
Located on Bromborough Village Road, our Bromborough PaintWell store proudly serves local homeowners and trades people with the broadest range of decorating materials - customers will find everything they need in store including trade and designer paints from a wide variety of brands and all of the decorating materials needed to complete their home décor projects. Part of the Brewers Group, ‘PaintWell’ are dedicated to delivering high quality products and expert advice to all of our customers. The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am – 5:30pm and Saturday 9am – 5pm.

As a Driver with Warehouse and Retail Sales Advisor duties, some of your responsibilities will include:
Make deliveries to customers in and around the local area only driving our Company Transit van
Providing exceptional service to customers in the branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality and service
Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store, storing goods received promptly, systematically and safely
The safe and accurate unloading, loading of vehicles and racking, using forklift trucks (with training)
Keep our warehouse and store organized and safe, in line with company standards
Using product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
Who we are looking for to join the team:
Familiar with Bromborough and the surrounding area
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality
Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
Confident with the use of computers with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Full driving license
Valid Counterbalance Forklift truck license is preferred for this role however training will be provided
Forklift counterbalance (B1 or B2) current certification by ABA member, within last 5 years - preferred but not essential
