Crynodeb
MAIN DUTIES: To include, but not be restricted to, the following duties: 1. To carry out Pathology investigations of patient samples under supervision as requested by the Clinical Services. 2. To operate and assist in maintenance of laboratory equipment according to departmental and manufacturers protocols and procedures. 3. To ensure agreed standards for turnaround times of samples and results are met. 4. To follow departmental operating procedures for Pathology analyses and undertake proper maintenance of equipment used. 5. To ensure work is completed and a handover is communicated prior to leaving a section. 6. To inform the senior staff or requesting clinician of abnormal or results. 7. To maintain confidentiality at all times. 8. To become familiar with and proficient in the use of the information technology systems within the Department.
