Fire Prevention Sprinklers Ltd specialise in the design, supply, installation and commissioning of Residential Fire Sprinklers and Suppression Systems throughout the UK. With extensive experience in the industry, we provide smooth and professional installation and maintenance of fire prevention systems to the highest standards.

Job Overview
Due to our continued success and increased order book, we are seeking experienced Fire Sprinkler Engineers to join our dynamic team in a hybrid installation and maintenance role. This versatile position involves working on installation projects two days per week and conducting maintenance services two days per week across the central belt of Scotland, with our main office based in Edinburgh.

Work Pattern
• Monday-Thursday, 7:30-16:30
• Two days installation work
• Two days maintenance work
• No regular Friday work required

Installation Responsibilities
• Installation of Residential Sprinkler Systems in CPVC Pipework
• Installing and commissioning BS9251 regulated sprinkler systems
• Installing all sprinkler heads and cover plates
• Interpreting and working from schematics to assemble components accurately
• Marking out pipework routes
• Bracketing and pressure testing
• Working on specific sites until project completion
• Ensuring all fittings are plumb and secure
Maintenance Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining sprinkler systems across residential and domestic buildings
• Conducting regular testing, including 5-point flow tests
• Diagnosing and repairing faults to ensure systems remain operational
• Performing system upgrades and modifications
• Ensuring all work complies with British Standards and safety regulations
• Maintaining accurate records, including service reports
• Monitoring and maintaining stock control
• Taking pride in equipment maintenance and company vehicle care

Requirements
Essential:
• Minimum 3 years experience in fire sprinkler installation and maintenance
• CSCS Card
• Full UK driving licence
• Construction site experience
• Strong technical knowledge of fire sprinkler systems
• Excellent fault diagnosis and problem-solving abilities
• Familiar with reading and understanding drawings, plans, and specifications
• Experience using power tools and hand tools effectively
• Familiarity with British Standards and fire safety regulations

Desirable:
• Knowledge of a range of fire protection systems
• Experience with preventative maintenance planning
