HMC Membership CoordinatorYou will join HMC on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.
Location: Working in Market Harborough with hybrid working available up to 2 days per week.
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum depending on the skills and experience.
Holiday: 30 days a year, plus public holidays.
Pension Scheme: The post includes generous pension arrangements. Pension scheme includes 14.1% employer contribution - 5% of which can be taken as additional salary. Employee contributions default to 7% but this can be flexed.
Bonus Scheme: Bonus scheme is currently up to £1500 each August, entry is based on the completion of a full academic year (September – August).
HMC – The Heads’ Conference – is a professional association providing a global community for Heads embedded in an association for many of the world’s leading independent schools.A fantastic vacancy has arisen for an exciting role supporting the Head of Member Services to deliver excellent customer services and support for existing and new members around the world. The appointment comes at an exciting point in the association’s development as its membership in the UK and around the world continues to grow.Your key responsibilities include:Supporting new and current membersAdministering the application process for schools and aspiring members of HMC Coordinating the induction of new heads joining HMC Administering HMC’s mentoring, appraisal and coaching programmes, and other professional support for HMC heads Coordinating HMC’s work with leaving heads and the alumni group Meetings and events planning and delivery Setting up and supporting online and face-to-face meetings and networking sessions for HMC heads and senior staff Providing excellent customer service to heads and schools Supporting marketing and communications for HMC Member Services, including via the HMC website Attending a range of events, online and occasionally face-to-face, including HMC’s annual conference for member heads. This will involve very occasional overnight stays and weekend working Other: Inputting and managing data in HMC’s customer relationship management system (‘CRM’), contributing to the ongoing CRM development, and supporting colleagues with using the system Providing administrative support to the HoMS, HMC Head of International Member Services and HMC Director of Member Services as required Updating and managing budgets for designated areas of work Providing cover for other colleagues, and carrying out any other duties commensurate with the role as required by the HoMS and/or other senior colleagues The right candidate must have the following:Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:Educated to at least A level or equivalent, or with equivalent skills and experienceSignificant and demonstrable experience in an administrative role Experience of managing a complex and varied workload, working autonomously and without constant direct supervision Experience of delivering events, working with a CRM system and/or working in education would be an advantage, but is not essential Essential Skills, Abilities & Competencies:Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and ensure deadlines are met Enthusiasm for working at pace in dynamic organisation Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office Strong communication skills, both written and oral Ability to meet goals and deliver results, working both independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and ability to produce work to high quality and accuracy Numerate and comfortable managing data A willingness to be flexible, with a ‘can do’ and proactive attitude The ability to build constructive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders Excellent customer service skills Strong commitment to the values and ethos of HMC Has integrity, respect for others and is inclusive/respectful of diversity Ability and willingness to undertake occasional travel and overnight stays within the UK A commitment to own professional development How to applyTo apply, please submit your CV and an application form including a statement of your suitability for the post before the closing date.
