Summary

Deputy Nurse Manager (RGN)

Salary: £44,000 (Pay review in April)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Deputy Nurse Manager (RGN) to join our client’s team and make an impact. In this role role, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager to deliver exceptional care for adults with complex needs, including stroke recovery, physical disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. What we’re looking for:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with a valid and clear NMC registration.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess clinical and personal support needs effectively.
  • Experience in developing and reviewing personalised care plans, including risk assessments.
  • Previous experience in a Deputy Nurse Manager role is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to compassionate care.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving care standards.
  • Driving license and access to a car - Due to the location of the service

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership: Leverage your nursing expertise to assess the clinical and personal support needs of patients, ensuring care aligns with best practices.
  • Care Planning: Develop, review, and update detailed and personalised support plans, including comprehensive risk assessments, tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Nurse Manager and multidisciplinary team to uphold the highest standards of care and service delivery.
  • Staff Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and excellence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to refining care processes and procedures, driving improvements in patient outcomes and experiences.
