Horizon Academy Trust is looking to appoint a well-organised and hardworking Senior Site Facilities Officer to be based at Bilton Primary School.
The Senior Site Facilities Officer plays a key role in school. You will work closely with other Facilities Officers, the Trust Estates Manager and Head of School to manage the security of the buildings, and will also take a proactive role in the maintenance, management and cleaning of the school site.
This role would be perfect for someone who would like to begin, retain or further develop a career in facilities management. The role is 25 hours per week with a split shift, 6am – 9.30am and 4.30pm – 6pm. There may also be a requirement to work overtime on a weekend and in the evening where overtime would be payable.
You will work with the School Leadership Team and the Central Operations Team to ensure that the school complies with all requirements of health and safety, risk management and statutory testing. You will also liaise with contractors and external agencies regarding the completion of both planned and reactive maintenance.
A qualification in Health and Safety would be an advantage but training can be provided if not currently held.Although the post is attached to Bilton Primary School, as an employee of Horizon Academy Trust, you may be required to work at other schools within the MAT.Closing Date: 17th March 2025
