Test Equipment Response Engineer - Aerospace

Rate: Negotiable on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to test hardware failures through the business 'failure' workflow ticket system.
  • Conduct technical investigations on equipment failures Prepare failure reports to inform the business stakeholders
  • Support root cause analysis (FRACAS) with the Engineering team.
  • Maintain compliance in accordance with mandatory regulations, and company processes
  • Identify design improvements and work closely with the engineering team to implement them
  • Support the verification of new equipment to ensure it is fit for service

Essential Qualifications:

  • City and Guilds standard in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrable experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment

Desired Skills and Characteristics:

  • Experienced Hardware/Repair Engineer
  • Experience working within a fast-paced engineering production environment.
  • Capable of diagnosing electrical and electronic test systems and comfortable with working as a team.
