Summary

The University Library has part-time Evening/Weekend Information Assistant vacancies which provide evening and weekend cover as part of a team in the Sir Duncan Rice Library on the University’s Old Aberdeen campus.

Duties will include a full range of regular and routine evening and weekend circulation services, Welcome Desk duties and handling basic subject and directional enquiries. Experience of effectively dealing with the public is essential and you must have a good general standard of education and good IT skills. You will be expected to provide a high standard of customer care, work as part of a team and be responsive to the public; all of which are essential. The posts cover term time and include Easter vacation.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 2 (£24,348 - £24,660 per annum, pro rata) with placement according to qualifications and experience.
