Introducing the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF)

Join our dedicated team at the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust, where we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our community.

We are looking for 2 passionate and dynamic individuals to fill the role of Patient and Staff Engagement Officer.

The successful applicant will be working with the central patient safety team and aligned to one of the Trusts geographical integrated commissioning board areas of :
• South Yorkshire ICB
• Humber and North Yorkshire ICB
• West Yorkshire ICB

The post holder will support patient, families, and healthcare staff to be actively involved in the patient safety incident investigation process and contribute to a learning response.

The Engagement Officer will be the primary point of contact with those affected by a patient safety incident, this will include the enactment of Duty of Candour and actively engaging patients, families, and healthcare staff to seek their input to the patient safety investigation and develop a shared understanding of what happened.
