The Best Connection are currently seeking a Sewing/Laundry Operative for a temp to perm role within their industrial laundry in the Wakefield area, WF2. This role will be temp to perm for the right candidate.
Mon- Fri 9am-3pm
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Responsibilities of the Laundry Operative Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items. Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures. Packing linen and clothes into return/customer bags Additional administrative tasks using computers Requirements of the Laundry Operative Attention to detail, reliable and good coordination Fluent English both written and verbal and ability to read English Sewing skills (desirable) Good accuracy, IT and organisational skills Basic computer skills Ability to work to target.
