An exciting opportunity has arisen at our incredible and welcoming school. Are you ready to take the next step in your career in schools? Are you passionate about helping children to be the best that they can be? Do you want to access fully funded apprenticeship training at Level 3 or Level 5?
We are looking for a talented, creative and caring Teaching Assistant to work with our children. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, but most importantly have a desire to do your very best to support the children. This post will involve supporting individual children, as well as working across a class.
Working under the direction of the head teacher, class teacher and SENCo, you will work as part of a team to support and extend pupil progress, inspire learning and maintain successful relationships with all children and staff. Initiative, common sense and flexibility are essential. You will also be required to complete a daily lunch duty.
In return we can offer you enthusiastic and well behaved children and a supportive staff team who are kind and caring.
There is also potential to access fully funded apprenticeships at Level 3 for people new to schools, or at Level 5 for those with more experience.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please contact us on 01444 831371 or email us at office@st-augustines.school to make an appointment. You can also find out more about us by viewing our website at https://www.st-augustines.w-sussex.sch.uk/
