Summary

Job Title: Production Operator (Swaging)

Position Summary: The Best Connection are looking for a Production Operator (Swaging) in Rossendale. They will be responsible for swaging grips within the swaging team, ensuring each grip is swaged correctly using the appropriate press and die to the highest quality standards. The operator must maintain productivity levels based on established routings for each grip and work well in a team to ensure quality and adherence to the production plan.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 0800-1645
Friday 0800-1230
37.5 hours paid working week, 30 minute unpaid lunch

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

-Perform production tasks according to standard operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines
-Operate swage presses and other process equipment safely and efficiently
-Complete daily tasks to meet production volumes and schedule
-Maintain accurate and timely production records
-Ensure standards are maintained at all times
-Comply with all quality system requirements
-Adhere to Health & Safety directives, company procedures, and risk assessments
-Identify and report unsafe practices immediately
-Perform any other duties assigned by supervision or management

Experience and Qualifications:

-GCSE A-C Grade in English and Mathematics as a minimum
-Around 2 years of experience working within a manufacturing/production environment
